Let me introduce myself...
I'm Marjorie Mundy, and I'm delighted to share with you!
I was first introduced to alternative healing practices at age 11. It was 1967 and in desperation, my mother took my brother to a chiropractor. You can imagine what people said about it. By 18, I knew vegetarians and vegans, had experienced other alternative healing practices and met people with varied spiritual beliefs. My journey has brought me to the realization that it is my responsibility to be good steward of the natural world, a caring and compassionate human and to be of service to others.
I enjoyed a long and interesting career in management. I worked for Solopreneurs, a Global Insurance company and an array of other business interests. With job variety came the joy of the meeting and getting to know many wonderful and diverse people who introduced me to new ideas, people and opportunities of many kinds.
My career provided the chance to nurture business success through training, mentoring and grooming staff, uncovering and utilizing their natural strengths and talents while nurturing team environments.
7 years ago, a dear friend offered the chance to try something new and I took the risk, I'm so glad I did. I have been honored to serve clients as a Life Celebrant for couples getting married and for end of life services. Last year I launched MorningStars Ceremonies to serve clients in a new way.
I live in Lewes, DE with my husband of 30+ years. We have 3 wonderful children, their spouses and 3 GRAND Grands! We keep a busy schedule with lots of friends, family, fun activities and a beach house!
As a family we've experienced the roller coaster that life can be, with scary dips and turns and exciting views. The diversity of our experiences and of those we knew closely, enhanced our intuitive abilities to be compassionate and fostered our desire to serve and support others in their life journeys.

Ceremony is deeply rooted in our human history. Throughout time and within all cultures, ceremonies have served to mark many of life's important milestones and changes. Ceremonies come in many forms, but each one calls us together in a space of community so that we may share experiences, gain wisdom, and honor life's transitions in unity and shared energy.

Ceremonies and rituals have always held great meaning for me, resonating at a soul level. Church services, choirs singing, weddings, bagpipes at funerals, meditations, healing massage, sweat lodge ceremonies...each circumstance connecting me to the energy of something much larger.
The opportunity to officiate weddings and funerals provided the outlet for blending aspects of my ceremony experiences, personal integrity and intuitive awareness in order to offer personal and impactful experience for others.
It is reverence for ceremony itself, that has guided me in my journey as a Ceremony Celebrant.
As a Retreat Celebrant, I collaborate with Co-Founders Alexis Brown and Laurie Blomer to offer experiential retreats in locations designed to enable participants to fully relax and align with the intentions of the retreat. Each retreat component is carefully chosen to create a complete, unique and personal experience for all participants.
As a Life Celebrant, I collaborate one-on-one with clients to honor the loss of a loved one, celebrate a commitment of love. or mark another important life moment.
Gathering for a shared experience through ceremony creates a collective energy and this connection enhances the moment in profoundly meaningful ways, while creating an intimate shared memory.
It is my sincere belief that every life is a gift, and each person’s journey, shaped by their own unique experiences, deserves to be honored.
As a Life Celebrant, I collaborate closely with clients to create a personal and meaningful celebration that truly reflects the life of their loved one.
No matter how simply or expansively a person lived, together we gently uncover the richness, wisdom, and lessons woven into the details of their story.
My role is to thoughtfully shape those details into a fluid, heartfelt narrative and, within the style and setting of their choosing, serve as both storyteller and facilitator, holding space and speaking on their behalf for the ceremony.
